Volunteer
Royal Family Kids Camp is 100% volunteer run, and we need amazing people like you to make camp a memorable experience for our campers! Royal Family KIDS volunteers serve the entire week at camp (overnight) in various roles. Positions include Camp counselors, Drama Team, Music & Motions, Camp Coach, Games & Activity leaders, Camp Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, Nurse, etc…
Requirements for all first-time, full week volunteers include:
- Complete RFK online application (Please click “New applicant” link)
- Face-to-face interview with Camp Directors
- Successfully background screened
- Must be a committed Christian
- A consistent part of a local church
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Teen volunteers ages 16 & 17 will be considered (See TEEN application)
- 2 good references provided on the application
- Attend camp the entire week (Sunday- Friday; 5 nights/ 6 days)
- Complete 2 days of training in Bakersfield, Ca
